Phantom 2 Vision + (Plus) • New Battery!
So I picked up a pair of "Echo Power" batteries for my Vision 2+. They are standard DJI form factor but have red paper inside the plastic cut-out's.They were at Hobby Town for $49 each on clear-out. I know... I was taking my drone's life in my hands but I figured it was a good price so what the heck. So far, fingers crossed, they are working just fantastic. They claim to be 5400's but I've got no way to verify that. Just sent my drone off on a 10 min mission with Litchi and it came back with 54% battery in the tank. So that's a huge plus. Now for the bad part... sold out. I ca
Phantom 2 Vision + (Plus) • Screw Specs?
Anyone know the specs for the screws used to secure the ESC's in the PV2+? The heads of three out of eight on mine were stripped by a ham-fisted assembler; guess I'll have to drill them out and replace. Ditto the outboard screws used to attach the shell (see photo); anyone know the specs? TIA.Statistics: Posted by dkaustin — Fri Jun 10, 2016 2:58 pm — Replies 0 — Views 6
Phantom 2 Vision + (Plus) • No Video Feed, More Questions
Another case of No Video Feed. Typical symptoms: black screen, able to operate gimbal from Vision app, problem repeats with two different devices and two different apps. The consensus on this problem seems to be that it's most likely a bad wifi module. Is there a way to nail this down firmly before I spend $190 for a new module? I was a bit surprised to experience this problem because my PV2+ has a newer vented module with heat sink goop applied.Unlike some others, I do NOT seem to be able to snap a still photo and save it to the SD card. Is there a good way to verify that the camera is g
Phantom 2 Vision + (Plus) • Follow me mode?

Phantom 2 Vision + (Plus) • P2V+ useful load
How much can the P2V+ lift in addition to the standard weight?Could it lift the pump shown, and about a cup of fluid? The pump would weigh about 6 oz and the fluid about 8. Add in the bits to install the system, and it would probably be around a pound total weight. Can the P2V+ lift an additional pound? If so, how could I remotely turn the pump on and off? Thanks for any info.Statistics: Posted by Gyrobob — Sat Jan 09, 2016 9:23 pm — Replies 0 — Views 4

Phantom 2 Vision + (Plus) • Run only one motor/prop at a time
I have used laser balancing and cellphone vibration apps for balancing light aircraft props, gyrocopter rotors, household fans, etc. I intend to use these techniques on my PV2+ motors/props.What is the simplest way to get three motors to be still, while the fourth motor spins its prop? Can I just unplug three motors? Is it necessary to take the body apart? Thanks for any info,BobStatistics: Posted by Gyrobob — Sat Dec 12, 2015 4:42 am — Replies 0 — Views 2
Phantom 2 Vision + (Plus) • Help with range of controller and WIFi Please
Hi Guys. I am new to your forum so please be gentle lol. I would like to do some filming with my DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus ver 3. My subject is Clifton Suspension bridge. I have worked out that the distance away from the controller will be around 1000ft. The question is .... A) Will the controller be ok at that distance ?B) Will the WiFi reach that far so that I can see what the camera is seeing ?C) If I am on top of the cliff where the bridge starts, what would the altitude reading be if it dropped below my feet as there is a massive drop to the road below. Also, what would happen if th
